The concert celebrates the Peoples’ Voice Cafe, which is in its 30th anniversary season of presenting politically progressive music in New York City and will also feature Peoples’ Voice favorite performers who sing out for social justice: Sally Campbell & Adele Rolider with Bruce Markow, Bev Grant, Harmonic Insurgence, the Ray Korona Band, Bernardo Palombo, Anne Price & Steve Suffet, Professor Louie, Rachel Stone, Thelma Ruffin Thomas and the People's Music Chorus! The concert is organized by the People’s Music Network, a group of activist musicians who believe music can change the world. PMN, which helped birth the Peoples’ Voice, is holding its semi-annual gathering in NYC that weekend. The NY Society for Ethical Culture is cosponsoring the concert.
