World renowned paper artisan Helen Hiebert was so taken by Bruce's song "Prayer for Peace" that she decided to create a paper hot air balloon with elements of the lyrics displayed on its surface. In collaboration, Bruce will perform the song as the balloon launches, under spotlights, into the twilight sky. He will also play a set at 6:30 p.m. before a special dinner culminating in the launch.
This is part of a daylong festival of paper arts curated by Hand Papermaking magazine.
