From the sponsoring organization: The September Concert is a series of free concerts held annually on September 11th. "After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." Inspired by these words of Aldous Huxley, The September Concert was born in 2002 on the first anniversary of 9/11. While these concerts were primarily held in New York City, cities across our nation as well as international cities, joined our effort to fill the skies with music.
