Revel with songs, stories and experiences for all five senses in praise of mangoes, “the fruit of the gods,” and every juicy thing they represent - alongside Bruce Markow’s other soul gratifying, multi-genre music, brimming with passion, playfulness and well-honed craftsmanship. Robin Burdulis (percussion), Bev Grant (voice, guitar), Barry Kornhauser (bass, 'cello) & Ben Silver (voice, keyboard) play zesty backup. The Miracle Mango Mini Mart (Mmmm!) will be open with mango-centric goodies. Klezmer mavens Madam Lewicki & her Yiddishe Syncopaters share the bill, performing the eve's second set around 9:15 (at no extra charge).
